We loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, with enough space in the bathroom too. The windows overlooked a peaceful park, providing a pleasant view. It was a great perk to have a coffee/tea set in the room. They even provided a Bible and a book to read, which was a nice touch. The hotel's location was quite close to the city center, easily accessible by two tram lines. The staff was very helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We recommend this place to everyone who values luxury and comfort.

The breakfast was very good. Bicycle rental was good.

Rich and good breakfast, attentive and nice breakfast service, expandable at the reception. The booking of special services worked out well. Wellness area of the neighbouring Courtyard Marriot can be used (path leads across the courtyard). Plus point for the underground car park (but 15€/day).

Very small room, no care products available (except for the all-in-one wash), hair on the bed, TV and radio stations do not work in some cases, bad WLAN in the room. Minibar, if it was one, locked.

Great value for the money, with well-equipped and spacious rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel's location made it easy to explore the city with a short walk to the tramway.

Breakfast was fine, no complaints. Hotel was easily accessible, parking no problem. The staff gave no cause for criticism. I would book the hotel again.

The cleanliness was good as expected, a tiny point of criticism would be some dried up splashes on the bathroom tiles, which are probably to blame for the time pressure under which the cleaning staff are under. Apart from that everything was fine, concerning towels, bed, room cleanliness etc.

Nothing made it really stand out.

It is advertised as having free parking available, but this is only possible in a few bays on the road in front of the hotel. The actual parking costs Euro 11 and is realistically the only option - So factor that into any price based decision to stay at this hotel.

Perfect location for my purposes, very friendly staff. The pool was also very good, perfect to get some exercise and relaxation after 8 hours of sitting.

The hotel offered free internet connection and a good bathroom. It was also located near public transportation, which made it easy to explore the city.

My Easter weekend stay at this hotel was not very pleasant. The room was noisy due to street traffic and there was no restaurant in the hotel.

The fact there was tea and coffee facilities in the room and the access to the swimming pool next door.

Despite have no heating on in the room, the room on the first night was extremely hot and the only way to cool it was to leave the window open all night which in the middle of March is not really suitable.

The room was ok and the staffs were very friendly with smiles and nods. The bathroom was exceptionally large.

Though the facilities are usable, there were some small defects such as pipe leaks, etc. The small street outside the hotel was somewhat noisy at night.

The hotel is located in a nice area just outside the old city center, making it a quiet place to rest that's still quite close to downtown Dresden. There are lots of smaller bars nearby, and the tram stop Stauffenbergerallee is also just a short walk away. the rooms are spacious and come with large bathrooms featuring a tub. There's also free coffee in the room, covered parking available, and free WIFI throughout the hotel.

The bar is small and may not be suitable for larger groups or events.

Breakfast was really good! That was one big plus!

This hotel is on backyard of HolidayInn. Swimming pool and saune are in swimming pool and you need to go out on street and step in other hotel. So if you are interesting in pool and souna (as i was) more wise will be to book room in Holiday Inn. Some rooms in this Best Western were renamed from "smoking" to "non smoking" without proper cleaning (very bed smell in these rooms). I was unlucky and got this room for one night without chance to change it on something same level. So be careful with this hotel.

This was my second stay at the Macrander. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are spotless. I really like the location as it is easy to get into the city with tram, car, or taxi but close enough to the a4 for day trips in the area. Free wireless and parking is also something that can be a rarity with German hotels.
